This WP will coordinate the training activities introduced in Section 2.2. Five Workshops will be organised in the framework of URBASIS to train the ESRs to present their research results via oral and poster presentations. Several lectures will be opened to ESRs, part of the Master and Post-graduate programmes at each participant University, according to their own Personal Career Development Plan and their complementary exposure.
Workshop 1 - UGA - will introduce the key disciplines and applications of importance across URBASIS, and brainstorm the main challenges, research questions and corresponding research directions to be taken, thus cross-developing ideas across URBASIS from year 1.
Workshop 2 - ULIV - will be organised collaboratively by ULIV and GFZ and will engage the ESRs in challenges related to seismic hazard assessment. Topics that will be covered in the workshop include ground-motion prediction, PSHA, low-probability event modelling, induced seismicity and time-dependency of seismicity.
Workshop 3 - ETHZ - will be organised by ETHZ, together with IFSTTAR, and will train the participants on site effects, nonlinear responses of soil, wave propagation in complex 3D media, dynamics of
Workshop 4 - AON/AXA - on the perspective of insurance and industrial participants, lead by AON and AXA, held before the end of the project for ESR employability.
Workshop 5 - POLIMI - to be held at the end of the programme, this will serve to summarise the achievements of URBASIS and introduce resilience for adding performance for seismic design.

In addition, Master and Post Graduate programmes - Participant universities - will be accessible for all ESRs, selected according to their PCDP and their complementary exposure programme, to enrich their specific scientific skill for the accomplishment of their thesis project.
